I speak about this mod with adulation, and for good reason. These creators have taken an all-time favorite of mine and many others and brought it up to date as much as possible. While it may seem like a daunting task for many to get this mod installed, especially on console, the developers have tried to create a process that is simple and easy to understand. For the PC side of things, it took me all of 10 minutes to download and install the mod. For the console side, I have been told by others who have attempted and accomplished the install that it took roughly 45 minutes to an hour. Even though the mod is available now to be played, the developers are still hard at work and will continue to support the mod for the foreseeable future.

Just finished the wonderful tutorial on how to soft mod my PS3 and install. Takes more than 30 minutes I booted it up for about 10 minutes, and wow, menus look amazing. Right now I don't have the desire I wish I had to play it given the dated gameplay. It makes me sad because I love the series, but the CPU is so weak in 14 and there's not much you can do to fix many legacy issues. This is truly brilliant and reminds me of what Deuce Douglas proposed for Madden. EA should be embarrassed about being showed up by amateur creators who do more for their games than they can. I got an XBOX and having some trouble figuring out how to get it on there. I'm dying to have it and dont' even like College Football as much as NFL. Anybody have any luck on the ? Is there a step by step process available to walk me through? I just eventually skipped it, renamed the file, and done. This was my favorite series by far and to be able play it with a fresh coat of paint, is amazing. They really cleaned it up too. The fields even look so much better, and detailed. I like the little touch they put on the pro stadium with the the faded pro hash marks. They even added the real advertisements around the stadium. This game already had pretty good lighting and transitional lighting to begin with for its age. With the new crisp look, it looks really amazing. I was worried at first the new uniforms might not look as good of quality as the stock uniforms.
Worry no more, they look absolutely fantastic! Even better than I imagined. Wait until you see what they did to Notre Dames helmet! Unbelievable, that was the biggest eyesore in the game; those ugly brown helmets. It incredible what those guys have done. That is not accurate. A PS4 cannot play PS3 games and probably won't ever be able to even with home brew. What is coming out is a streaming service where you'll use your PS4 or Vita or certain TVs or phones etc to play a game via streaming, so it'll be running on some server farm somewhere and the image will be beamed to your screen and your inputs beamed to that server. The PS3 games that are being played on the PS4 are not ports, but rather games that are run server side and the video information is downloaded by your PS4.
